Storage Issues

Four Places that an Electronic Document can be Stored:

Flash Drive:

  • The pros of this is that you can easily take this with you where ever you go to access your information. theses are also cheap and avaliable and there are not many restrictons to it.
  • The cons of this is that these are easily lost of left behind so you lose all of you important info. They also break very easily so you could lose all your information.

Network Drive:

  • The Pro of this is that all of your information is backed up so if something would ever happen to the computer you would not lose you information. Also you can get to this from any computer that is connected to the network.
  • The Cons of this is that you must be logged in on the network computers to access it and that you must be connected to the internet meaning that you can not use this drive when logged onto wireless internet.

Desktop:

  • The pros of this is that it there is a lot of space and information can be easily stored in this place.
  • The con is that sometimes when you log off and log back on you information could potentially not be there.

Google Docs.:

  • The pros this is on the internet so that all you have to do is log on an you can access this no matter where you are.
  • The con is that you must have internet access these documents so that could cause limitations to when you can access them.
