Webquest!

The things that make a good webquest are that they require high levels of thinking not just question and answer, they must be appealing to the eye with colors that coorinate with each other and appropriate graphics so that students are interested in what they are doing, and it should include good links to other sites and resources to help the students to answer the questions in the webquest.

Web Quest Project!

The web quest that i will be creating is going to be on the day in the life of a slave. I would like the lesson to be centered around how the slaves got to the colonies and what they experienced once they got to the colonies. Students will understand the hardships that these slaves experienced. Also I would like the students to explore why the slaves were so essential to the stability of the colonies and what reasons that the slaves were brought from Africa to the colonies to work.

Today we started to develope the essential, unit and content questions that we will be using as a base to developing our lessons for this project.

Today we continued to get our site together. We created links to all the different types of content standards that pertain to our projects. We also learned more about editing our sites and how to add new pages and how to change the names of existing pages on our site.We are also starting to think about the type of lessons that we are going to be doing for this project.
